SEMICON India 2026 to Bring Together Global Semiconductor Ecosystem in New Delhi
Three-day event will feature more than 600 companies, representatives from 52 countries and a new ‘Sand to Silicon to Systems’ value-chain experience
New Delhi is set to host SEMICON India 2026 from 17–19 September, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to inaugurate the three-day conference and exhibition at Yashobhoomi on 17 September.
Organised around the theme ‘Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem’, the event will bring together global and Indian semiconductor companies, policymakers, investors, researchers, start-ups, academic institutions and students from across the semiconductor and electronics value chain.
According to the Government of India, the event will focus on strengthening collaboration, investment, innovation and talent development across the sector. More than 600 companies are expected to participate, alongside representatives from 52 countries, more than 400 executives and over 150 speakers. The event is also expected to attract around 50,000 visitors.
Showcasing the semiconductor value chain
SEMICON India 2026 will take a comprehensive view of the semiconductor ecosystem, covering activities ranging from semiconductor materials, equipment and chip design to fabrication, advanced packaging, electronics and systems.
A key feature this year will be the new ‘Sand to Silicon to Systems’ Value Chain Experience, designed to showcase how different stages of the semiconductor ecosystem connect to form an integrated industry value chain.
The programme will also include parallel sessions covering developments in the display industry, as well as six Country Roundtables aimed at encouraging international collaboration and potential joint ventures.
International participation expands
The exhibition will feature six Country Pavilions representing Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore and Sweden.
In addition, the event will include 12 State booths, a Startup Pavilion, an Innovation Showcase, a Student Hackathon and a Workforce Development Pavilion.
A dedicated forum on women's leadership will also form part of the programme.
The broad participation reflects the growing focus on developing an integrated semiconductor ecosystem in India, bringing together technology companies, manufacturing stakeholders, investors, policymakers and talent across different stages of the value chain.
With its emphasis on collaboration and ecosystem development, SEMICON India 2026 is set to provide a platform for companies and institutions to explore partnerships, investment opportunities and new avenues for semiconductor and electronics growth in India and the wider global market.
