Ecolab has announced the opening of its new manufacturing plant in Yangsan, South Korea, marking a significant expansion of its Asia Pacific operations. The facility will support the production of Nalco Water solutions alongside a range of specialty chemical formulations.

The Yangsan plant is positioned as a key site within Ecolab’s global supply chain network, designed to enhance supply continuity, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen customer service capabilities across Asia and international markets.

According to Ben Clark, Executive Vice President Global Supply Chain and Chief Supply Chain Officer posted on Linkedin, the new facility reflects the company’s continued investment in regional manufacturing capabilities and its commitment to supporting customers with reliable and scalable solutions.

The expansion reinforces Ecolab’s strategic focus on building resilient, localised supply chains in high growth markets, enabling faster response times and improved service delivery for industrial and water management customers across the Asia Pacific region.
