Axcelis Secures Purion XEmax Evaluation Win for Next-Generation PMIC Manufacturing
Leading foundry selects Axcelis' Purion XEmax high-energy ion implanter for production of advanced power management ICs, strengthening support for next-generation semiconductor devices with ultra-high-energy implantation technology.
Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS), a leading supplier of enabling ion implantation solutions for the semiconductor industry, announced the successful Purion XEmax™ high-energy implanter evaluation closure at a leading foundry. The system will be used for the production of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs).
