E&R Engineering Expands to U.S. with New Phoenix Subsidiary to Support Booming Semiconductor Market
E&R Engineering Corp., a global leader in semiconductor laser and plasma equipment, announced the launch of its U.S. subsidiary in Phoenix, Arizona, established in August 2025. The new subsidiary strengthens E&R's footprint and service capabilities, responding to rapid growth in the North American semiconductor industry.
To enhance support, E&R will establish laser and plasma demo labs in Phoenix and Portland by 2026, enabling local sample testing and process parameters fine-tuning to shorten development cycles and speed time-to-market.
Kevin Chang, General Manager of E&R USA, commented:
"With over a decade serving Tier-1 North American semiconductor customers, our global E&R service team—spanning more than 13 nationalities—delivers unmatched expertise and deep familiarity with our clients' operations. Next year, we expect to add nine new North American customers and expand installation services into Canada. Tool deliveries will begin in Q4 2025, with order visibility extending into the first half of 2026, and are expected to contribute significantly to the parent company's revenue."

At SEMICON West in Phoenix (Booth #1561), E&R will showcase its laser and plasma solutions alongside over ten Taiwanese partners in semiconductor equipment, materials, and automation solutions, highlighting Taiwan's advanced packaging expertise.
