Aion Silicon (formerly Sondrel), a leading ASIC and SoC architecture partner, announced its membership in the Intel Foundry Accelerator Value Chain Alliance (VCA). As a VCA partner, Aion Silicon expands its existing turnkey service offerings to deliver full-stack custom silicon—from architecture through packaged silicon—across multiple market segments and geographies.
This new alliance empowers Aion Silicon to act as a consolidated design and manufacturing partner. VCA members manage the entire silicon lifecycle on behalf of customers, including architecture definition, RTL development, foundry engagement, OSAT services, and even warehousing. The program is designed to simplify the development of advanced semiconductors by giving customers access to fully integrated, production-ready solutions without the burden of managing multiple vendors.
"Joining the Intel Foundry Accelerator Value Chain Alliance enhances our position as an elite design and manufacturing partner that delivers high-performance custom SoCs that are as operationally scalable as they are technically advanced," said Oliver Jones, CEO of Aion Silicon. "By managing the entire development and supply chain—from design to packaged silicon—we help customers innovate, reduce risk, and bring differentiated products to market more efficiently."
The Intel Foundry VCA program complements Aion Silicon's high-touch engineering model, providing customers with a single point of accountability throughout the development process. Whether defining architecture, coordinating silicon tapeout, or handling downstream logistics, Aion Silicon offers customers a truly turnkey solution—fully aligned with Intel Foundry's leading-edge process technologies.
