Amphenol Completes Acquisition of Trexon for Approximately $1 Billion
The addition of Trexon’s high-reliability cable assembly portfolio expands Amphenol’s interconnect capabilities across current and next-generation defense technologies.
Amphenol Corporation announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Trexon from Audax Private Equity for approximately $1 billion in cash.

Adam Norwitt. “With the closing of the Trexon acquisition, we look forward to the increased technology solutions we can offer our customers through the combination of Trexon’s unique portfolio of high-reliability cable assembly products and Amphenol’s existing high-technology interconnect offerings for both current and next-generation defense technology.”
As previously disclosed, Trexon is expected to be accretive to earnings in the first year post closing, and will be included in the Harsh Environment Solutions segment.
